IPO Edge hosted a fireside chat at Nasdaq MarketSite on Oct. 5 with Andy Boyd, Chief Executive Officer at REDL Intermediate Holdings, LLC (REDLattice). The in-person interview was joined by Editor-in-Chief John Jannarone and they discussed:
- The company’s business combination with Bold Eagle Acquisition Corp. (Nasdaq: BEAG) to become a public company and start trading on the Nasdaq under the ticker “REDL” by the end of 2026.
- REDLattice positioning itself as a mission-critical cyber and intelligence technology company serving U.S. and allied governments, with capabilities spanning vulnerability research, lawful intercept and intelligence collection.
- How the cyber threat environment is accelerating rapidly, particularly because of AI. Mr. Boyd mentioned adversaries are becoming more sophisticated and that governments need advanced technology and specialized expertise.
- REDLattice sees substantial growth potential in government cybersecurity and intelligence spending. The company’s strategy is to expand existing customer relationships, broaden its product portfolio and pursue opportunities across the U.S. defense and intelligence ecosystem.

About Andy Boyd
Andy Boyd is CEO of REDLattice and an Operating Partner at AE Industrial Partners. He comes from a career in intelligence and national security spanning three decades. For more than ten years he was a Senior Intelligence Service officer in the CIA’s Directorate of Operations, and his career there culminated as Director of the Center for Cyber Intelligence. In that role he directed global intelligence collection, analysis and operations against foreign cyber threats, and worked regularly with the White House, Congress and international partners. Earlier at the CIA, he was Chief of Operations at the Counterterrorism Mission Center and served as Deputy Chief of Station and Acting Chief of Station of a large CIA station in the Middle East.
After leaving the agency, he founded Faze 2 Strategy, which advises growth-stage technology companies on defensive and offensive cyber capabilities, and served as an adjunct professor in cyber policy at Johns Hopkins SAIS. He sits on the boards of AE Industrial portfolio companies CASE, REDLattice and York Space Systems. He has also been a part-time CBS News contributor on intelligence, counterterrorism and cybersecurity.
