Akari Therapeutics, Plc (Nasdaq: AKTX) said President and CEO Abizer Gaslightwala was part of a Virtual Investor “What This Means” interview highlighting the company’s first abstract acceptance at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting.
The company stated Mr. Gaslightwala discussed recently presented preclinical data to target difficult-to-treat cancers such as KRAS-driven tumors.
“The acceptance of our data at ASCO represents an important validation milestone for Akari and reinforces the growing excitement surrounding our differentiated ADC platform,” said Mr. Gaslightwala. “We believe AKTX-101 and our novel spliceosome-modulating payload approach have the potential to redefine how difficult-to-treat KRAS-driven cancers are targeted.”
