Uber Announces Pricing of Initial Public Offering

SAN FRANCISCO–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Uber Technologies, Inc. (“Uber”) today announced the pricing of its
initial public offering of 180,000,000 shares of its common stock at a
price to the public of $45.00 per share. The underwriters have been
granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 27,000,000
shares from certain selling stockholders at the initial public offering
price less underwriting discounts and commissions. Uber will not receive
any proceeds from any sale of shares by the selling stockholders. The
shares are expected to begin trading on the New York Stock Exchange on
May 10, 2019, under the symbol “UBER.” The offering is expected to close
on May 14, 2019, subject to customary closing conditions.

Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs & Co. LLC, and BofA Merrill Lynch are
acting as lead book-running managers for the offering. Barclays,
Citigroup, and Allen & Company LLC are acting as book-running managers.
RBC Capital Markets, SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, Deutsche Bank
Securities, and HSBC are acting as joint book-running managers. SMBC,
