Ouster, Inc. (Nasdaq: OUST) said Ouster BlueCity, its traffic management solution uniting 3D lidar with AI detection for intersection and highway multimodal actuation, alerts and analytics, is now powered by Rev8 digital lidar.
This integration is the world’s first native color lidar detection system and captures both color and 3D depth information simultaneously with no need for complex calibration, the company stated.

The solution was first installed in Stamford, Connecticut, enabling 360° corridor-level detection for traffic flow optimization, vehicle idle time reduction, and gridlock spillback minimization, it said.
